What is better for HD 1080p video playback (.mvk high bitrate video), Intel HD 3000 or Intel GM 3600.

More specifically, HD 3000 integrated inside i3-2365M, or Intel GMA 3600 inside Intel Atom N2600, with same RAM speed & size.

Please if you can, use comparison multiplier like, 1.5x better, 2x better and so on.

The Intel HD 3000 would be more appropriate.

The Atom CPU is relatively weak CPU meant for netbooks. Additionally, the current "Cedar Trail" generation Atom CPUs is expected to be replaced the the "Bay Trail" generation Atom CPUs this year. That is likely to take place next month since tablets, netbooks and entry level laptops based on Bay Trail is expected to be available for holiday sales.

However, the next gen Atoms will still be less powerful than Sandy Bridge generation CPUs. I do not know what the "power" comparison is between Atom and Sandy Bridge CPUs (which has the HD 3000). All I know is I would not bother with Atom netbooks unless they are at least $200 less than a laptop with a Sandy Bridge CPU and you value something that is small and light. And you needs are not demanding.
