"No Signal DVI" Displayed on monitor.

Hello everyone! I recently got a new graphics card "EVGA Geforce GTX 460", but for some reason it's not connecting to my monitor "ASUS VS228H-P." Whenever I try to connect via DVI-D cable- it says "DVI No Signal."

My monitor works on my old graphics card "NVIDIA GeForce GT 640", so I believe monitor is not the issue here. I am pretty sure everything is connected properly, graphics card fan seem to be spinning.

PC Specs:

*CPU: Intel i5 2500k

*Current GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640

*Ram: DDR3 8GB

*Motherboard: ASUS P88H77-I -Socket 1155 LGA-

Do you have both external PCIe power connections firmly connected to the GTX 460 (from the PSU)? What make/model of PSU are you using?

If your old GPU still works, then I suspect there is a problem with the GTX 460. When you swap the GT 640 in, it works, right?

Ya, my old card works, currently I'm using that. Is there any other way to check the new GPU by myself?

Installing in another system would be the easiest thing to do.
