Or, I could shell out some more money and get this:

Thanks in advance for any insight!

With your GTX 770 I would STRONGLY recommend moving up to QHD (2560x1440 resolution). Once you go to QHD, 1080p will look like crap!

You can get QHD monitors for around 300-400$ these days. You can even get some for under 300$ shipped from Korea through eBay. Just search for QHD.

I would contend that a midrange 2560x1440 display will make even the best 1080p with 78909GhZ refresh and 0.0000001 ms response look like crap the same way your 1080p TV makes grandmas 480i TV look bad.

Of course that means that sometime in the near future you will want to add a second 770 in SLI so you can max out graphics on BF4 (currently the 770 ran BF4 on ultra at 2560x1440 with 4xmsaa at 38 FPS. Remeber you can turn off 4xmsaa for a dramatic improvement and that higher pixel count mean less need for antialiasing). You should be fine with your single 770 for now and you can thank me once you get a glimpse of any game at 2560x1440!

Just make sure to include a good PSU (850W should suffice) for when that second 770 comes home in 1-2 years.

A buddy of mine linked that when I showed him your post. Is there any ones that are cheaper. I was initially trying not to exceed ~$300...

Here,

Just found this on NewEgg. I'm pretty sure if there are any issues with the screen right out of the box you can return it under their 30 day guarantee. Beats shipping it from Korea through eBay because returning it can be a major pain.

I bought a Crossover Q27 from eBay a year ago and am very happy with it. No dead pixels as far as I can tell. I sometimes have 2 screens side by side, the 1440p and a 1080p and the 1080p looks really bad in comparison despite being a "High end" display.

Let me know how it turns out if you do decide to get one!

EDITED:
There is a bunch on NewEgg now!! wow!
