Well I installed Linux Mint on my pc configured partitions and then added on one of them Win 8.
While I was working with linux everything was fine and it booted just ok (there was some troble with dual videocards, but thats and other story, mainly because of that don' t want to reinstall it).
However, after installing Win linux wont boot anymore. In disk managment it shows that only Win partition is bootable. Is there a way to make linux also boot without removing it?

Yes. The easiest way is to boot to your mint installer DVD or USB and install boot-repair to it. Google boot-repair install. Once done just accept default repair. Done in minutes. I shouldn't worry about you having mint rather than Ubuntu since mint is based on Ubuntu.

Yeah, what you have done by installing Windows after mint is overwrite the GRUB boot loader with the windows one, boot back into the mint live CD and re install GRUB. If you need any help doing this let me know.
