Hi, I have a Shuttle SH67H3 that wouldn't boot with an i5 3570K. I took it to a local computer repair, and the diagnosis was "i5 cpu does not have discreet graphics on board tested working with shop Gfx card. Diagnosis only.
I previously had it up and running with an old i3 cpu (which I have since sold)

Don't ever take your system to that shop again since they apparently don't know what they are talking about. The 3570k comes with HD 4000 graphics. http://ark.intel.com/products/65520

Your problem might be bios related. If your current bios doesn't support that CPU, you will have issues.

I personally own the 3570k and can vouch for the fact it certainly does have onboard graphics, the problem is most likely the motherboard compatibility or bios misconfig.

My research on that model shows it does support the 3570k but not on older bios versions. You need version SH67H000.201 of bios to get the 3570k to work.

Yes did update bios using old i3 ,anyway I emailed the shop and they are having another look.

If your motherboard isn't version 2.0, it will not work with Ivy.

thanks for the replies, but the problem appears to be that the system works with a graphics card and not on the 3570k integrated
