I'm going to be building a server for a small business network. The primary function of this server will be to serve as a domain controller and file server. My current plan is to create a single server with two RAIDs - the first is a mirrored pair for the O/S, the other to provide 8-12TB of storage. I have two questions:

1. Can this be done? I have built arrays in the past, but never multiple RAIDs in the same box.
2. If this is possible, what equipment do you recommend (for the budget-minded business)?

Yes it can be done. I would get a xeon e3-1275-v2 and at least 32gb ram. Also, get an lga 1150mobo. That being said, it won't be easy exactly. You might curn into problems. If you do get the stuff I suggested, or any other stuff, make sure to tell us if anything goes wrong.
