Just got this card, there is no option under gaming tab to enable crossfirex, i dont even know if i am playing games with the two gpus'. I have been googling this issue to no avail.

Card overheats to 100c with 100% fan speed and it is just new. LOL, playing metro 2033 all maxed out 80fps max and lowest 18fps. but bumps up to 50 fps when hits 18.

I NEED HELP!

Specs:

4770k
Asus z87 pro
8gb ram kingston
500gb ssd samsung
Sapphire 7990
OCZ 750 watt full modular bronze psu
Cooler master K380 case

No O.C

The temp issue definitely needs addressing. What case do you have the card in? Do you have the Catalystâ„¢ Application Profiles downloaded?

yes catalyst application profile is downloaded. However, it would stop installation/extraction around 90ish % and asked for reboot which i did.

case is a cooler master k380.

now i get tops 120-140 fps on fraps and lowest 60 odds. And mac temp 94 although mostly high 80ish with 100% fan.

gpuz says: ati crossfire enabled (2) but three other monitoring software says a gpu no load/usage 1% lol. Metro 2033 maxed out on 1920x1080.

The reason you don't get a CF option in CCC, may be because that card can only run as CF. And CCC doesn't see a 2nd card in another PCIe slot.
Your frame rate seems good. But the temp is too high at 94C. Most gfx cards max out at just under 100C. Some games won't recognize CF, and some that do, won't use much of the 2nd GPU when isn't needed.
