upgrade from 7970 cfx to new r9?

hi,
looking to maximize my gaming performanc with dead space 3, battlefield 4 and crysis 3. Would it pay to get a new radeon or is the 7970 not far behind it? I have 2 7970's with a 3930 x cpu.

It's really not far behind it. At least for Dead Space 3 (easy) and Crysis 3, they're not. For Battlefield 4 you might get above-average framerates but I'm not yet certain what AMD Mantle has to offer for this. If you already have 2 HD 7970's just stick with it, they will last you for a couple more years.
