How long can you play non-stop?

In the next couple of months or so I'm going to be building myself a gaming PC for the first time.
So I'm new to a lot of things.
But something I couldn't find much info on is how long can you play non-stop?
To give a example the longest I've ever played a game was just a few weeks ago when GTA V came out, and I played for 20 some odd hours.
Could a computer with a hyper 212 plus be able to go that long without any issues?
Would it get to hot? Could it become a issue?
Since I'm at it. How long should you leave your computer on?
I normally leave this computer that I'm using on 24/7. I don't get any issues, but then again I'm not playing any games because it can't run them haha.

Hi, Some do leave their computers on 24/7 will no problems. As for playing games and how long, as long as you have a good computer with an adequate cooling solution, the question would be, how long can YOU sit there and play it.
