Second GPU-Motherboard temperature increase?

I'm going to add a second Radeon HD 7970 GHz edition for CrossfireX. I have a program called AI Suite II. It allows me to monitor both CPU and Motherboard Temps, my fan speeds, voltage, etc. The question is, when I install a second graphics card, will the temperature of my motherboard increased by far, if any at all?

That will depend on the case size, airflow, GPU(s) usage, design of the card, cable management, and cleanliness of the system. Naturally the more data flowing thru the MB circuitry, the more the temp will increase. Not to mention the extra heat expelled by the 2nd card when it is active.
