As the title states, I was wondering if I could use one of these as a second monitor for my PC-

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Monitor-Support-Resolution-Rear...

The reviews state that they can be used as a screen for a Raspberry Pi with no issues... But I'm not sure how to connect it to the VGA on my 7870. I understand that I’d need a 12V 1Amp power supply, I've probably got one in the shed :p

I'd mainly use this for keeping an eye on Task Manager Processes, CPU usage, Framerate & GFX card info, but mainly for BF4’s Battlescreen. I’d buy another monitor, but there’s not a lot of space on my desk, but mostly because I’m skint. :D

How would I connect it? Should I even bother and save the money? Is this too small for what I want? Has anyone done something similar to this?

Any feedback/solutions would be greatly appreciated!!

it has RCA inputs, so you would need a VGA - RCA convertor, that would probably cost more than the screen does. lol. As for resolution, I doubt you could get much readable out of that small of a screen for BF4, but from what I know, the battlescreen is only for tablets or other devices anyways and not a second monitor, but I may be wrong on that.

Thanks for the quick response!

Ah.., I see xD
Resolution was a concern I was having... I'd have to try Battlescreen at a low resolution and see if it was legible. Battlescreen is usable through battlelog.battlefield.com, and is usable on a second monitor, shown running here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXZ1y59v9Tc

I could just save the money for a tablet I guess... Christmas is just around the corner... :p
