Hi, I was running Windows 8.1 (preview). I overclocked my 4770k to 4.3Ghz, and although it appeared generally stable, upon startup, clicking on anything would not regester. By this I mean clicking on any icon wouldn't do anything. After doing ctrl alt del, and clicking task manager it regained regular functionality. After adjusting the settings, I found all overclocks did this. Is there any solution? Thanks.

Hi,

Have you tried a tiny overclock (say 100Mhz) and does the same thing happen?

After you press ctrl, alt + del can you run any stability tests like prime95 or OCCT?

What are your temps like?

Have you set your RAM values manually or used an XMP profile?

I haven't tried that small of a overclock, I'll get back to you.

Yes, I can run p95 and am getting great temps, around 55-65.

I set my RAM to 1600Mhz manually.

Hope that info can help, probably not though :)
