Before you guys answer me, please take this into consideration:

Here are my system specs:

My desktop is running @ 1440x900 resolution
AMD Phenom B55 X4 @ 3.2GHz
MSI 880GM-E43
4GB DDR3 Ram
Seasonic S 12 II 620w (bronze)
1TB WD Black 64mb cache
750gb Seagate Barracuda 7200
160gb WD (old harddisk)

I don't know what should I get between these two, because from what I've read, 2gb is useful in 1080p gaming, but I can't do 1080p gaming on my monitor. The games that I plan to play are these: Crysis 3, Sleeping Dogs, NBA 2k14, RE6, Bioshock Infinite, Far Cry 3 & Total War: Shogun 2. I also use editing softwares like Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Flash, Sony Vegas because I am a multimedia artist.

Please keep in mind that I have no plans of upgrading my monitor anytime soon, so I'll be sticking to the 1440x900 resolution for quite some time.

Specifically here are the two cards that I am undecided about, but you can suggest better cards that doesn't exceed the price of the HD 7850 because I'm on a tight budget.

2GB is always better if you have higher resolution. However yours isnt that high, 1GB is enough for upto 1600x900. Yours is below it. Assuming that you have 169$ as the HD 7850 2GB costs so, you should go for Radeon HD 7870 2GB. Copy paste this onto amazon - MSI AMD Radeon HD 7870, 2GB GDDR5, PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card R7870-2GD5T/OC. This costs 169$. If not this, get the one from Sapphire. If it doesnt fit in your budget, get the 1GB version.
