Night Owl

I'd like to know if I can use the EVGA 760 SC 2gb w/ ACX using the Corsair Power Supply CX500M?, this are my sistem specs:

Intel q9450
CX500M
7200 rpm Seagate 1tb
Dvd+R/CD+R : Double layer capable of "burning" I get messy with the letters there
HAF 932 (4 fans)
EVGA GTX 760 SC 2gb w/ACX

I know I can be safer buying a 600w one, but I need to stay within the price range up to $50 sadly, if you know of a PSU Im very open to suggestions

I think you should be quite comfortable with that PSU,as the official Nvidia recommends just 500W PSU for the GTX 760. Moreover,it's maximum power consumption is just 170W. So,with all your PC components working, you're not gonna hit figures above 500. So you'll be fine with it,as long as you don't tweak your PC.... :)

Thanks for your insight, I managed to extend my budget enough to buy the 750W version to ensure the chance for a future SLI and extend the life of the PSU by not using it forcing it to work at max

Yeah,if you intend a SLI,you'd need such a PSU like the one you're going for now. I was about to say that in my last post, but thought you were not onto get a SLI. Anyway, good to know that you're going for a better PSU. It's gonna make your system even safer than before. Good choice....
