Hardware: AS Rock Extreme 3 970, AMD FX 8350, AMD Radeon HD 7770, 2 Sticks Kingston Hyper x Red (8GB), 1TB Hard Drive.
Situation:
After upgrading my processor from the Phenom X4 to the 8350, my motherboard could not recognize all the 8 cores in my processor. To fix this problem, I bought an entirely new motherboard (Extreme 3 970). After installing this motherboard and all the components, I booted up to find out that windows carried over to my new motherboard and all my data is on here. I had alittle trouble with installing drivers, but once they got installed everything worked fine. Unfortunately, Windows still says there are only 2 cores in my CPU. Should I reinstall Windows, or is this a CPU/Motherboard Problem. (Also I hear no beeps from the motherboard idk if it is cause its newer)
Thanks!
