how to remove write-protection om my sandisk pendrive

i want to remove the write protection on my sandisk 8GB pendrive, i cant able to copy any files to it so how can i remove write protection

One fix that sometimes works is to plug it in to a different computer, make sure it can be formatted or otherwise written to, then plug it back in to your original computer.
