Hello! I'm new to overclocking and would like a baseline to start with.

My system is

i5 4670K
ASUS Maximus VI Hero
Hyper212EVO
MSI TF GTX 760
Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600 9-9-9 24
Down to 8-8-8 24.
Corsair 500R
Corsair AX750PSU

Like I said, new to overclocking and the Motherboard has more options to overclock than I can count. What are some guidelines to follow, do's and dont's etc. any input other than why did you pick this part is appreciated!!

Thank's!

There are a lot of good guides to OC'ing Haswell. I found the info in this thread to be the most helpful: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1722630/intel-god-quick-dirty-guide-4ghz-haswell.html

I now have my i5 4670 running stable at 4.7 GHz.

Thank you Yogi! One last question when it says change voltage to 1.9 -2.1 does that mean 1.9 to 2.1?

Yes, it does, and please note that is the CPU input voltage (Vccin) NOT Vcore!

Okay! Thank you! I'll test on Friday when I have time!

Good luck, and let us know how it goes!

hi Yogi, what is your setting to overclock, I'm very curious: D

Vccin = 1.900 v.
Vcore = 1.280 v.
Vcore Mode: Adaptive most of the time, Override for stress testing
CPU Ratio: 47
Ring Ratio: 35
Ring voltage: 1.190
Memory: XMP Profile 2 (8-8-8-24 1600 MHz 1.500 v.)
