Hey,

I know there are a lot of people asking about temps but I really can't find a good answer. I have built my Pc and am using a 3570k and a hyper 212 evo.

After about 5mins of prime 95 my CPU hits 60C. Is that hot? I am living in a hot place where right now the temperature outside is about 27-33 C. I would like to overclock to about 4.2 if not more. So what I want to know is what is the highest temp I should go to when Overclocking, if 60C is hot and how long my CPU will last as I want to work for about 4-5 years. I game for about 10-14 hours a week. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

P.S excuse my English

60C is not hot underload. The ambient temps can make a difference. This corner I am in, can get rather warm, and when it does, my temps go up some ( about 5c or so ). You have a good third party cooler. If you continue to run Prim(% and the temps don't go much above 75c, you are fine and not even in a critical area.

getting a second fan can also make a difference to get the heat out.
