Hello :)
I have a newly assembled Desktop computer mainly for Video and Photo editing and rendering.

Here are the specs:
- i5 4570
- 60 GB SSD (Bay 1)
- 2 X 2 TB Hard Drive (bay 2 &3)
- Intel HD 4600 integrated graphics
- H87 Mobo
- 4 GB memory
- 600 watts PSU
- Win 8 OS

I am wondering which between memory or graphics card is worth the upgrade. I can only afford one.

I can either add another 4 gigs of Memory or install a NVIDIA GeForce GT620 graphics card.

Any guiding thought on this?

Thanks :)

I would get the extra system RAM. Photo editing doesn't need much power because it's 2D and static. Even something as weak as the Intel HD 4600 can do that. The GeForce GT 620 won't give you much that the HD 4600 doesn't. The extra system RAM however will make the whole computer seem faster.

Thanks, Avro Arrow. I'll go ahead with the memory upgrade. :)
