So everything was fine until today. I had my FX-8320 overclocked to 4.3GHz with 1.45V for over 2 weeks and everything was fine. Sometimes I like running prime95 whenever i'm not doing anything just to make sure it's stable. Today while running prime95 the PC shut off. It won't turn on now. Whenever I hit the power button the fan spin for a millisecond and nothing. I had another power supply but still nothing(I just plugged the cpu connectors and the 24 pin mobo connector) The pc won't turn on! I reset the CMOS and still nothing. I plugged in the power supply to another outlet, nothing. I reconnected the cpu pin and mobo pin and nothing. Could it be a faulty mobo? Or CPU? Everything was fine until today, it just won't turn on(the fan spin for a millisecond and then nothing. What should I do? RMA the mobo and cpu?

Sounds like something may have over heated or fried. You did not mention your CPU cooler.

Did you check diagnostics codes or LEDs to get an idea of what may be defective? Otherwise, you need to try different parts to see what is defective and causing the system not to boot up.

good luck! Let me know how it goes.

You were running Prime95 when it shut down. You didn't say what your cooling solution was, AMD tends to run a bit warm because of the TDP and by OCing, you pushed the TDP even higher. If I had to guess, I'd say you fried the CPU.

Decided to ditch AMD, just bought an i7 4770k with an ASRock Z87 Extreme3 LGA 1150.

Good Choice. :)  I am running the 4770k on an ASUS board and have it OC'd to 4.6 Ghz on air cooling and the temps are fine.
