how much money can I get for selling this computer?

I'm planning on buying a new computer and selling my current one to invest in my new PC.

I built this computer 4 years ago. I included the retail price I bought this computer for.
How much money can I get for this PC?

Prices are in CAD

Here are the specs.

Intel I5 750 Quad Core ($211)
8GB G Skill RAM (120$)
Sapphire HD5870 (372$)
ASUS P7P77D P55 LGA1156 Motherboard (155$)
OCZ 600Watt PSU (77$)

Plus mid tower Case, Optical Drive & 250gb HDD space.

My guess is probably about $300 or so, but that's just a wild figure I threw out there. I totaled your costs to purchase and figured that maybe 1/3 would be a reasonable expense because the PC is four years old which is considered "high mileage" in the computer world and the components have been replaced with bigger and badder versions. You'd also have to consider that where you sell it at, people looking to buy a used computer are probably bargain hunting and will want to pay as little as possible.

Thank you for your reply and opinion. Its about the same price I thought too. Most likely sell it to a friend. It's still really good for browsing and watching movies etc. It can even play Battlefield 4 on medium settings lol.

Maybe others have other differing opinion.
