I am in the process of building a new computer and was wonder which would be better- a 2 way sli gtx 670 setup or a single 780.

current specs

CPU- i7 4770k (plans to over clock at a later date)
CPU cooler- Corsair H100i
MOBO- MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150
PSU - OCZ 750W ATX12V / EPS12V

So you have none of the above cards and you want some help choosing? I would say the 780. 670's in SLI (especially 2GB) won't compete with a 780, if you factor heat, noise and power consumption in. The performance is usually around the same though.

I would highly recommend the 780 over the two 670's. Then you can SLI 780's later if you wanted.
