Windows 7 Update Fail - Can't Resolve

I've been having trouble with windows updates. I keep getting Update Failed error with the following codes:

Code 800F0900 (unknown error)
Code 80073712 (unknown error)

The updates are for:
Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 Service Pack 1 for x64-based Systems (KB2879017)
and
Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2882822)

I had the same issue with .Net Framework updates, but uninstalling and re-installing did the trick there.

So far I've tried manually installing the updates, running WindowsUpdateDiagnostic, running Tweaking.com Windows Repair (All in One), Microsoft FixIt. None of these have helped and am a loss.

Any suggestions on what to do next? Let me know if you need more info...

I had the same problem with 3/4 of my major updates when I first installed windows on my laptop and it kept trying to install them then it would fail on the configuring of it and take 20 mins to roll back changes every time so I just shut them off for good. Not really a solution but it keeps it from trying.
