Good afternoon ladies and gents. I'm just finishing up researching components to build my first Pc.

I bought it mostly for gaming, specifically BF4 and tried to set it up to last me a couple of years before needing any serious upgrades.

Let me know what you think.

Not a bad build at all, some really good components in there. It looks like you did your research. The PSU may be a bit more powerful than you need unless you plan on adding a second GPU at some point in the future, though. However, SeaSonic is an outstanding choice.

As far as the Gigabyte mobo, I'm not too familiar with them. Some people like them, some people warn to stay away. Obviously, I'm a fan of Asus but I haven't had experience with Gigabyte to critique them objectively.

The other thing you may want to think about is bumping the monitor up a little bit larger. I got an Asus VE278Q 27" monitor and while it may be overkill I absolutely love it.

I spent a couple of days combing through these forums. Didnt buy a component with out reading 5-10 different threads. It really helped.

Ive been a big AsusRoG Laptop user and fan, It was very difficult for me not to buy everything I Asus. In the end after lots of reading I went for the least expensive of them, that wasnt MSI.

I needed to keep the costs down thats why I bought that particular Monitor. As for the PSU thats for future possible expansion.
