GTX 680 or 770. Which to get price/performance

Hi guys,

I was going to buy a MSI gtx 670 twin frozr for £209 ($337) but thats no longer an option.

So I'm now torn between
MSI GTX 680 twin frozr for £240 ($388) or
MSI GTX 770 twin frozr for £310 ($500.93)

(dollars are just simple google conversions, without considerations of taxes and such)

videocardbenchmarks show 770 as the best score:
gtx 670: 5,375
gtx 680: 5,705
gtx 770: 6,289

However video reviews and gaming benchmarks say the 680 gets better FPS.

Is the 770 worth the extra £70 ($113) over the 680.

I have both...the performance is nearly identical. For the prices you are looking at I would go for the 680.

Edit: Unless that 770 has more memory and you will be gaming at high resolutions...then I might look at the 770.

In those prices 680 is better deal as 770 is just a renamed 680 with little higher clock but there is another option of R9 280, on newegg it is $300 and it performs on par with GTX770.
