I am a senior studying MIS and I just got a job offer to a company for a Database Administrator(DBA) position. I was given the option to be a DBA for either DB2, Oracle, or Cloudera(Hadoop). I am not sure which one to go with and I could use some advice.

Thanks

If you need to ask that question, are you qualified for the position? Which of the three are you best at?

It is an entry level position.

I interned at the company over the summer in the Data Architecture group and had exposure to all 3. I am more worried about longevity of the systems. I don't want to pick Cloudera, and then down the road it is no longer being used by companies.

Then pick Oracle. Trust me, that will stick around for years to come.

That's an interesting question and one I wish I could answer. I can tell you, however, that Supermicro makes some very compelling Hadoop Systems.. I recently just wrote about it here:
Hadoop Cluster by Supermicro
