My brother in law and I are both looking to build new computers, we already each have a SSD drive for windows but we need CPU/MB/RAM/GPU/HDD/PSU. We're also hoping to maybe wait till newegg goes into black november mode to get cheaper prices. Does newegg do bigger deals on Cyber Monday or throughout November ?

> Need it to last, 2 to 3 years
> Need all component to come from newegg.com as we're using our preferred accounts to pay for it (no need for comment on that, we did it for our last computers and paid it on time just fine).

So far we are thinking:

**CPU**
Intel Core i7-4770K Haswell 3.5GHz LGA 1150 84W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics BX80646I74770K

**Motherboard**
ASRock Z87 PRO4 LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

**RAM**
G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR

**GPU** (out of stock right now but hoping it'll be back or similar by black friday)
ASUS R9280X-DC2T-3GD5 Radeon R9 280X 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

**HDD**
Western Digital WD Black WD5003AZEX 500GB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

**PSU**
RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply, New Version with Build-in LED Fan On/Off Switch

Are there any better/cheaper upgrade which will give us what we want ? (we're a bit over budget)
I know many would recommend the I5's, but we picked the i7 because we want it to last over the years.

Updated PSU to go a bit higher, still modular and actually cheaper (same brand, they have a special)
Updated HDD, decided to go with 500gb WD black, to try to stay within budget, I have a 500gb in my current build and am fine with it, got a external 2TB to store other things.

Trying to decide on a video card...

?? Would it be wiser to get the I5-3770k for $100 cheaper with an 1155 socket MB ?
