Gaming Laptop Trying to Stay Under 1300

So I'm looking for the best gaming laptop i can get for the price... The only requirement is an HDMI out. I want to be able to play current and upcoming titles on the highest settings 1300 dollars can get you. Right now I'm looking at these: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2422528,00.asp

I know the one is a 100 chachingos over my budget, but that keyboard speaks to me. Anyway, are those good deals, suggests, comments, remarks?

    Is the keyboard backlit, I can't tell from the pictures and couldn't find it in the specs... It's the on I thought was best as well :) My only question with it would be if there would be a way to get up to the 770 as it has an extra gig of ram for the gpu?
