is there a better board for the price?

I've only been looking at motherboards to upgrade to for the past 2 days. im currently operating

on an AMD chipset board make/model MSI 760g-p23 fx micro atx board, its been a great board for

the past year and a half but i

want to upgrade to a better board, after searching for the past 2 days with a price range of up to

$140.00, i've set my eyes on the ASRock 990fx extreme3. which i believe is a brand made by

Just for yits and giggles, can anyone recommend a better board for my price cap?

Well you want a board with the 990FX chip in it and it just so happens that board is the best priced 990FX board. I used to own one myself.

When you click the link it says it only costs 104, not 149. Because usually that's the price of it is around $110

ASRock used to be owned by ASUS, but they're not any more, not to say they're not a quality brand, i like them, but i like ASUS better. Just a fun fact.

EDIT: haha, i guess i can also address the actual question, that board is a very good one, and if you want value and features, get it. For a bit more the M5A99FX PRO R2.0 is great as well:
