i5 4670k idle temps

I am using a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO and I am getting around 38-40 degrees celsius in the BIOS. Is this normal?

Slightly high. (Could be nearer 30c). What are your load temps?

Sounds a little high. I would re apply the themal paste and check its mounted correctly.

I ran AIDA64 extreme edition and I was getting around 50-60 degrees at 100% load.

Thats not too bad actually at full load, but still higher than I would expect at stock clock speeds.
