This is my first desktop build. It is going to be used for gaming and microsoft office for school. Keep in mind that I am getting a 23" monitor that cost $229 with this desktop. I am also getting windows 8 for $104. Those two cannot be changed. I chose the cheapest thing on ibuypower.com for motherboard because I have no idea on what is the best. Please check ibuypower.com to see what they have to offer for the intel Z87 i5/i7 under the desktop tab at the top of the page. I want it to run any game at max settings! Also I have no idea about the cooling system. Which is best?
My budget is $1650. Please change my build to get lower than than my current total. Also change what is unnecessary/bad.

I would HIGHLY recommend you save your money and buy the parts out right and build it yourself. For one it is half the fun and second I had to rebuild a lot of what this company did to my son's gaming computer for xmas.......

i would definitely agree with plzingu4e because if you are going to buy a pc from a company they always seem to be something wrong or not so good in it so save your money and think this out properly

Your options from iBUYPOWER.com seems that it has a high-end graphics hardware so it should be able to run games at max settings as long as the game is not as demanding towards your hardware but in my opinion, building a PC could get you to understand more about your hardware and could get repairing a little easier and could get you better hardware at cheaper price but this is just my opinion. And when companies that build custom PC may always want to use as little time as they can to get the PC done and that also highers the chances of the computer not working well or having issues when shipped out but when you build your own PC you have as much time and would not need to rush through the processm
