Crossfire HD7950 vs R9 290x

I currently am running on two HD7950's Gigabyte. I was wonder if they will give better performance than a single R9 290x. BUT, I am talking only AVERAGE FRAME RATE, right now I am not concerned with Crossfire stuttering. I am wondering about pure power.

AND how much will a USED 6 month old and 3 month old HD7950 get me? I got the box and everything, perfect condition etc. Plus, what is the best way to sell it

keep the 7950's for now but if the 290x starts doubling your performance i would upgrade look at my rig in the signiture and im thinking of getting 2 290X's
