New computer build looking for advice

Hi, so as the title explains, I am a new pc builder. I don't know much about building computers or making sure they are compitable but I do sure want to find out.
Here is what I have so far (nothing bought yet, will buy after I get the "greenlight". I just bought a gtx 680 Asus graphics card that was too tall for my HP Invent case (metal in HP invent case was way too low). I do not want to make another amateur mistake. Thank you in advance.

well you can't pick a motherboard until you pick a cpu since the AMD one will need a different socket than that MB.
