So I have been a huge Xbox fan since the Original. I recently got addicted to BF3, and started looking around for info because I am NOT satisfied with whats to come out of next gen console for the price. I plan on playing on my Panasonic Plasma 42in 1080p 600Hz, or 23in 1080p 60Hz computer monitor. Using an Original Xbox Controller/SCUFF with PC adapter or wired controller.
So far I have a wish list made, but not being familiar with gaming PCs and doing research off the internet this is what I have come up with. I would like to know if this is a decent PC build, I'm trying to keep parts before tax and shipping around $1000 +/- $200.
Priced off Newegg
Corsair Carbide Series 400R
$99.99
ASRock 990FX Extreme3 AM3+ AMD 990FX
104.99
AMD FX-6300 Vishera 3.5GHz (4.1GHz Turbo)
$119.99
CORSAIR Hydro Series H60
$64.99- Figured since the FX-6300 allows me to OC to 4.1 GHz then I should get a Liquid Cooler
ASUS MATRIX-R9280X-P-3GD5
$349.99 - I know the product isn't out yet, just figured by the time I decided what I wanted it would be out.
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
$109.99
Western Digital WD Blue WD10EZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5"
$69.99 - I seen a lot on SSD and I just figured this was a bang for the buck.
RAIDMAX RX-850AE 850W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD
$99.99
TOTAL: $1019.92
Please let me know if this system is a good build, im open to ideas and/or whole builds. I noticed there are a lot of AMD/Intel fan boys, and same goes to AMD/GTX.
