Steam OS HDD partition

Hi, I have a gaming PC with a 3TB HDD and when SteamOS is released, if possible, I would like to give 1TB of the space on this HDD to it. I dont know if this is possible but if so please help. If you need any more details ask me ;)

SteamOS is another linux derivative and there are already many guides on the internet for how to dualboot these with windows and/or mac. I would suggest you begin by verifying your GPU has linux support as thats usually the biggest hurdle.

SteamOS is said to have been using the common windows CPU architecture and binary.

So pretty much all Intel/Amd CPU's past socket 775(intel) and 939 (AMD)
recommended.

I cannot find the source on this information sorry.
