So I was planning on getting the Sapphire 280x Toxic 3GB but with the 770 been lowered Im tempted to get it because I actually was going to buy the games they offer (AC:BF, Batman, SC) but before the price drop it wouldn't of effected me too much.

With the 770 been older should I take that into consideration? although the 280x is just a 7970.

Will the 770 be viable for Next gen games?

I play on a 32" TV at 1920:1080 res.

Main games: heavily modded Skyrim and AC:BF, Batman + future next gen games.

The 770 I was looking at was http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-evga-gtx-770-sc-acx-28nm-pcie-30-7010mhz-gddr5-gpu-1111mhz-boost-1163mhz-cores-1536-dport-hdmi-d

vs

Also would like to note, I plan on getting a second card to SLI/Crossfire later in the future if that is something to take into consideration with each of the cards

Any suggestions would be great because I can't go back and forth much more

Better buy a card with 2+ GB VRAM, + the 770's Kepler is not the best for overclock. Go with the Toxic, just make some changes and will beat an OCd 770.
Forgot to mention, I have the Toxic, its pretty good, and in a year I gonna pick a 2nd one.
