GTX 580 to GTX 590 upgrade

Hi guys

I have been looking for an upgrade on my GPU. I currently have the EVGA GTX 580. Does it worth going for a GTX 590? I have found a couple of good bargains on ebay.

considering such deal, it is tempting.
the 590 is old, i would suggest the GTX 770 ($320). the 770 is newer (newer architecture and technologies) and will improve with upcoming drivers.
or maybe the R9 280X ($300).

Hi and thanks for your reply. I am more of an Nvidia fan. I have read that the 590 has microstuttering issues during gameplay, mainly due to its dual gpu configuration. Furthermore, I am operating with a single screen (@1920x1080p)...

ok, then get the GTX 770, a great card, and a better move than going for the 590.
what PSU do you have?

well it is up to you, i would go for the 770.
