Hello all! I am attempting to build a desktop PC for the first time, and am wondering if I'm on the right track so far. Specifically, I'm totally lost when it comes to choosing a graphics card, so I need some help with that. Here's what I have so far...

Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G45 Thunderbolt LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6GB/s USB 3.0 ATX w/ UEFI BIOS

Processor: Intel i5 3350P Ivy Bridge 3.1 GHz (3.3 Turbo) LGA 1155 69W Quad Core

Hard Drive: Western Digital Black 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0GB/s 3.5"

RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

These are all from NewEgg. So, any suggestions for a good graphics card? (Also, if you see any glaring compatibility issues, please let me know. This is my first time. :p )

Then replace the I5 with an FX8320 or the like and you can get a GTX 760 or R9 270x.

Thanks! I'll look into that. Will the FX8320 be compatible with the motherboard, etc. that I have?

Yeah add the FX 8350 just make sure it can go with your motherboard and for a graphics card at $250 you can get a gtx 760 or radeon r9 270x if you want less for around $150 to $200 you can go with a gtx 650, gtx 660, gtx 750, radeon r9 270. Good Luck

Also you can go on microcenter and do a cpu/motherboard bundle using the fx 8350 with an asus m5a97 R2.0
