gtx770 2gb for the "future"

Is a gtx770 2gbddr5 good enough for playing games like gta4 gta5 (if it comes out), cod,mohaa,.. and maybe using the high resolution skyrim mod?

Until now i've only had a (slow) card with 512mb vram. 4gb card's are very hard to find around here too.
I'll be using one 1080p monitor and a old smaller one (gaming will be on the 1080p one) later i'm getting a 1440p monitor (and use that 1440 one for gaming then and the 1080p for secondary) will a gtx770 with 2gb vram be good enough for 1440p? (high settings on the above mentioned games)

Well it should be enough for now. No one can say anything about the future. So if you're concerned about it then get a 280x as it has 3gb of VRAM or get MSI 770 with 4gb VRAM(I read its hard to find)

It should be fine. Worst case you can turn down the AA, which significantly lowers VRAM usage. I'd get a 770.

4GB is only useful for SLI. It does nothing in a single card system at all.
