BenQ XL2420TE compatible with PS4?

So, I am looking at purchasing the new PS4 sometime later this year after it comes out and the hype slows down. I am also interested in building a PC (which I have all of the parts picked out, but I just didn't want to purchase anything with college in the way and all) so my question is; if i buy the BenQ monitor, would it be ideal to use for the PS4? I would love to have a nice 144hz monitor instead of my 55' TV. Opinions?

If it has a HDMI port, then yes, it'll be compatible. If the monitor has DVI then you could buy a DVI to HDMI cable and use it that way. Hope this helps.

This helps greatly! Though, I am curious to know if there are any specific benefits for using a DVI to HDMI then just using a normal HDMI
