Can my new PSU handle a R9 290X ? ***

Hi, I just purchased and hooked up a new PSU (Thermaltake 650W Smart) (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153173) Pretty decent 12v rail of 52a/624W. Can I run a R9 290x? I heard of this card eating 400 + Watts in furmark.

It should as long as the rest of the system is efficient.
Under normal usage it is unlikely to draw 400w
