intake or exhaust, push/pull

hello people, im kinda new to water cooling, so i bought the H100i, i want to ask about the setting for the fans as intake or outtake(exhaust). and if i want to use push/pull can i use other band fans with the ones that come with the h100i?? thanks.

my setup is:
cooler master HAF x 942 case
intel i7-3770

Set them up as an intake, otherwise, if it is exhaust, all the hot air your PC is making will go to cool the CPU... which would heat up the pc more, and then even hotter air has to cool the cpu, and so on until your cpu shuts down. Set them up as intake, and have at least one exhaust fan nearby.
