should i get the i5 4670 or the xeon e3 1230 v3

I'm making a new rig and was thinking which is better the i5 4670 or the e3-1230 v3. I read that future games would make use of hyperthreading (espcesially BF4)
I'm not going to overclock it
no worries about the motherboard compatibility or psu, I got that covered

the i5 will be better in gaming as you get less gaming performance out of the xeon. xeon will only be faster in cpu intensive things like video encoding/rendering. all in all for games the i5 4670k is better

You probably already built your rig but I have a Xeon E3 1230V3 in my build and it runs a GTX 770 Lightning with no issues.

The i5 4670 will be better at gaming, and the Xeon will be better at every thing else.
If I was buying, I would get the Xeon as it the better value. It will still dominate games with ease.
