Hi all,

Trying to give an old PC a bit more life until I can afford a new one. I'd be using it to work in Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere. The config is as follows:

m/b ASUS M2N-E
cpu AMD Athlon 64 x2 3600+
psu CHIEFTEC GPS-500A8 500W
ram 2GB DDR2

The graphics card I'm looking at is the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 660 2GB GV-N660OC-2GD - from what I've read it's a good one to buy right now and I would use it in my eventual new PC, but is it the smartest purchase I can make to improve my current one?

Thanks in advance!

I think your MB may be a little old but I really have no idea if the GTX 660 will be compatible with it. You may want to contact ASUS and hear what they have to say about it.
