Hello guys,

I recently upgraded my CPU but is still experiencing system slows and drops of FPS when playing games like Diablo 3 and Starcraft II, especially when there are more players in the game at the same time.

Here's my set up:
CPU: Phenom II X6 1045T
MOBO: GA-M68M-S2P
GPU: Sapphire HD 7750
RAM: DDR2 800mhz, 2x 2GB
Storage: WD 320GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache
PSU: BFG 550W, bought in 2009

I think CPU and GPU is good enough to run these two games. I don't consider overclocking anything. What should I upgrade?

About the GPU, which does not have a separate wire for power, consuming power directly from the mobo, is that a problem considering how old the mobo is? Because my motherboard runs hot (about 90 celcius) when under load in summer.

Is a 4 year old power supply still be considered reliable?

Thanks!

Depends on how damaged it is. If you took care of your PC good it should still be pretty good. Same goes for the motherboard. Cant believe youve had that Mobo for 4 years and nothing happened to it. You must treat it like a king.

Upgrading RAM is definately necessary. 8 Gb would probably be a good choice, and wouldn't be that expensive. You might also want to consider upgrading your GPU, although because of your motherboard a Crossfire config would not be possible. If you upgrade your GPU, you need to be careful that it does not require too much power for you PSU.

Should I also upgrade mobo then? Since my current one only supports DDR2?

Yes for sure.
