Hello! I built this PC in Nov 2011 for gaming, and haven't upgraded anything since (mostly because of budgets). It still runs well, it has served me good. I have kept good care of it but its starting to show its age because newer games don't run very well unless the settings are turned down, even then its not smooth. Some of my components are discontinued. So I'm looking for any opinions on what I should do? New GPU/PSU/case, more RAM? Any thoughts welcome. Thank you for looking!

I would definitely upgrade the GPU, buy an aftermarket cooler for the 2500K, and overclock your CPU.

And if you're running out of space, then you should grab another HDD.
