7850 1GB Future Proof?

Hello! I am considering upgrading my graphics card to an MSI Radeon 7850 1GB GDDR5. My resolution is 1440 x 900. Currently I have an Asus Radeon 6670 2GB DDR3.

Would this be a good future proof card at that resolution to play next gen titles such as Battlefield 4 and Watch Dogs.

I have just upgraded my CPU to an AMD FX-6300 with an Asus M5A97 R2.0 with 8GB DDR3 1600MHz memory. Would this be a good system?

That card isn't the sort of future-proofing thingy.

However your system will be able to execute games a medium-high settings @ 1080p.

Plus, in future when you feel your card's performance going down the drain, throw another 7850 in Cross fire, and BAM! you kill games!
