Ok, first my rig details:
MB: Asus P8H77-M-LE, LGA 1155
CPU: Intel Pentium G850 CPU
RAM: 8GB Kingmax DDR3 1600MHz
HDD: Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD
GPU: Sapphire HD7750, 1GB GDDR5
I'm mostly working on my PC, lots of multitasking, programming with some gaming on the weekends. I'm not very demanding in terms of games video details, just wants that it runs smoothly even at the cost of lowering the details. I upgraded my rig year ago and not planning to upgrade it soon. When I was buying the upgrades I purposely bought low end CPU with plan to upgrade it later since my budget was tight back then. And now I think has come time for CPU upgrade. I'm ok under $200. My eyes are set on Core i5 3350P by last Tom's Best gaming CPU's for the money guide recommendation.
So should I buy that CPU or wait a little bit more for a better deal at that price range for my platform? I'm afraid that if I don't buy that CPU now the stores will soon run out of stock and I will be left dry with my only option for that upgrade through second hand deals (used CPU's).
Btw my PSU is very old, about 9 years but it's still holding. I guess since it's quality deal. Back then it was about $130. So maybe I should upgrade PSU too?
