my 500 GB show only 5 GB

first, my HDD wasn't detect on BIOS, So i change card of HDD with same firmware and same manufacture. After that , i can see detection on BIOS and window also know. But HDD is unalllocated and only show 5 GB actually, HDD is 500 GB Seagate. So I have no idea what i should to do. I don't want to do low level format. Bcoz, there is very important data on this HDD. Please...How can i recover it??

Yes, I have already try with another machine. But only show same space.

HDD is bad, change it.
I had a 500GB brand new, first time it detected in the bios, after a restart it say 0MB

Edit:
You change the HDD's controller board with another one from the same manufacture that has the same firmware?
Most HDD these days won't work, even if the controller board is swap, from the same exact model and firmware.
