PC Audio through Amplifier & Multi Monitor

So i have an ati 5850 GPU and I want to connect 3 monitors up, 2 monitors and 1 HDTV, with the HDTV being a DVI to HDMI to my amplifier/speakers (SONY MUTEKI 7.2 surround, was an original model, not the newer one).

Anyway, I tried connecting just the HDTV, hdmi cable from my pc to the amp to the HDTV... I get video through ok but no sound.. Can't find anything in the catalyst control or volume mixer that helps..
Any ideas??

Rigth click on the volume icon in the taskbar, goto playback devices and select hmdi as the standard device. DVI-to-HDMI may not work, because only some special dvi ports have the audio signal.
